As some of you may have noticed, we released a collection of four metal dice sets made in collaboration with Second Wind for their hilariously animated D&D show, Adventure Is Nigh. R-rated, ridiculous, and irreverent are probably the three words that would appear on the gallery card if AIN was on Netflix*.
*Full disclosure: I cancelled my Netflix subscription ages ago, so this joke might be a little outdated.
90% of the dice sold out within 48 hours. Sooo, I'm just going to use this space to hype the show.
AIN features a slew of charming NPCs (every other one of which is named Jeremy) and downright dastardly villains (such as a siren named Anus Quiver who tries to seduce and eat Sigmar), but the heavy hitters are the players:
Yahtzee Croshaw is a "half-elf" (it's kind of a long story) Rogue/Bard named Mortimer.
KC Nwosu is Sigmar Iceblood, an Aasimar Ranger/Artificer.
Amy Campbell is Dabarella Yeetster, a Tabaxi Fighter/Cleric who is also my personal favorite.
Jesse Galena is Grinderbin, an Artificer who is also a mushroom.
The whole circus is run by ringleader DM Jack Packard, who clearly has a lot on his plate.
There have been four (count 'em, four) seasons released so far, plus a spin-off Side Quest! You can catch up with this YouTube playlist.
I'd say tell your friends and family, but make sure your friends are at least like... 16, and maybe leave grandma out of this one.
